“Having stayed there a few times each stay has been excellent. Although the rooms are a bit dated and in need of a face lift, you get what you pay for the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is great value for money. Good gym and pool. Definitely go back”

“This hotel is a gem. Very well appointed throughout. Check in was warm, friendly and efficient. Room was very clean and comfortable. The bar area was welcoming and comfortable. The restaurant area provided an excellent breakfast. There is a heated swimming pool and steam room. Great hotel at a reasonable price. Friendly, helpful staff.”

“Lovely hotel with very warm and welcoming staff. I stayed here unplanned due to a problem with the rail service, arriving late and a bit flustered and anxious. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. My room was comfy, quiet and had everything I needed, plus things I didn't need for such a short stay (ironing board, iron, heater, fan, kettle). Nice shower with good water pressure. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a great range of option to choose from. I'd be happy to stay here again, or recommend it to a friend/ family member. “Just a little off the track - but walkable to the city walls [5-10 minutes]. Lovely comfy bed, great shower. A little dark in the room but it was roomy and clean. Staff where really friendly, good breakfast to set the morning up, although the coffee machine was a bit temperamental. The food was good, cosy bar for a nightcap. Would definitely stay again.”

“I stayed for 4 nights, and everything was smooth and great. Will definitely come back here for my future stay in York. The door handle tripped me a bit, but it's due that they are not common in France. Takes a bit to adjust, but nothing bad at all. Thanks for your amazing service and hospitality.
